Since joining Townhouse in 2010, David has overseen more than $5 billion in real estate deals, including major dealings with hotels, offices, multi-family residences, industrial properties and self-storage. He plays an integral role in the underwriting and due diligence process at Townhouse. He also leads a traditional training program at Townhouse that cultivates the skills of our young analysts. He developed the program, which teaches Townhouse’s unique process and stresses client relations as well as best practices.
David’s experience working on big transactions makes him an invaluable resource both to our new analysts and especially to our clients. He’s very good at getting deals closed. He began his commercial real estate career at Landmark Companies, a Miami-based developer where he spearheaded numerous condominium conversions. He also successfully developed several low-income housing projects by leveraging the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.
David has consulted key companies in the areas of underwriting, modeling and due diligence for commercial mortgage backed securities transactions. His resume includes past engagements with Bear Stearns, Sovereign Bank and Blackheath Financial, now known as Accenture.
David earned his BBA degree in International Finance and Marketing from the University of Miami School of Business in Florida, as well as an MS in Real Estate Finance from the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate.
